That does not seen right unless the estate is now the 100% owner of the property.
The mistake seems have been made earlier not making sure the property was transferred to the sis as you were not taking your inheritance0 -
The OP (as Executor) took the cash from the Estate and distributed it to herself as (as a Beneficiary) whilst leaving an undischarged liability in the Estate - mortgage with house in negative equity.
If a solicitor genuinely gave a green light to all of this then it is utter incompetence - from the Bank's perspective this almost whiffs of fraud and I will bet my bottom dollar when will go after the OP.
OP - do NOT sign that indemnity letter from the solicitors.0
