Natwest application made - how long so i want for a decision?

I am self employed and have provided all of the requested paperwork and tax information.

I am going through a broker if that is any help or not.

just looking for a rough guide of timelines thats all.

    Not that I'm against self employed, but if you have just recently been self employed and your salary is inconsistent then it will be hard to get mortgage accepted.


    Going through broker is the best thing for self employed. I know someone who was self employed and you can imagine you will be asked more information than non-self employed. It is more risker for lender to lend money hence it might take longer. It depends how speedy is your broker. He may take couple of days or more if busy.
