State Pension Questions

Hi,
I worked in my job from Sep 2003-Jan 2015.
What I would like to know is, I have been claiming JSA and I was entitled to Contribution Based JSA, which I received for six months.
My question is, am I entitled to a state pension for this length of service in my role and also, if I claimed NI Based JSA, does this affect a state pension?
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by am I entitled to a state pension for this length of service.? While employed you were (presuming you earned enough) paying National Insurance contributions which if you have sufficient entitle you to a pension . You are credited with NI contributions when claiming JSA of both types.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

register online and get a state pension statement, most benefits credit you with NI even if they give you no money, so always worth claiming them.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
