Yeah I guess so for the sake of the 2 years. I've just didn't think I would have to be considering having this debt for so long. I knew it would be a significant amount but I did not appreciate that at a normal wage level I would only be paying off interest per year. The only way I will pay it back is if I get a high earning job, not that that seems likely but was kind of the point of of going back to university in the first place.
Cant believe I'm still considering a masters course. Have to self fund it and work part time though, although if I'm not going to clear that debt it could be added t!

Are you aware of the postgraduate master's loan of £10,000 that's available? Taking this would add another 6% to your loan repayments each year if you're earning over £21,000 but as it's smaller there's a higher chance of paying it off within 30 years. Interest is charged at RPI+3% across the 30 years.
