Does anyone know if Tesco have stopped doing their puzzle mags. I haven't been able to get the Codewords one for the last couple of months

Liz, I can't be certain, but I have a feeling that I saw this for sale just a couple of days ago in my local Tesco. I can't promise for sure, and certainly don't know when, but if I'm right, the next time I'm there, I don't mind nabbing one and posting their comp, if it will help? But, pretty please, let me know by posting here or by PMing me if you beat me to it? If I'm wrong and it turns out to be a different puzzle book, I'll post again to say so.

The latest comps are showing on the Puzzler site so I presume the mags are still available. Have you thought of subscribing, it usually works out cheaper than buying each month from the shop?21

Oh gosh, don't go buying one specially to post on here unless you enjoy doing them which I do. I checked again this morning & it's not on there but I'm not sure if there may be a problem with their search facility as I searched earlier & found a different brand codeword mag but then when I searched minutes later that had disappeared. I really hate the Tesco website, I've had so many problems this year with clubcard coupons not working, some being stolen & used elsewhere which they haven't reimbursed as they said they only keep records for about 45 days I think they said so, although they knew where it had been spent, they couldn't discover who had spent it & wouldn't refund me which is a disgrace. My clubcard was also among one of the 600,000 who were hacked too & I've discovered that their website is very insecure too. I miss doing my codewords when I go to bed so I've started brushing up on my Italian instead as I just found all my exercise books from school in the mid 70s so grazie tanto bella signora...lolBlulu said:Liz, I can't be certain, but I have a feeling that I saw this for sale just a couple of days ago in my local Tesco. Aw, OK Liz, I'll leave it up to you. I do enjoy them, but being honest, I already subscribe to two other puzzle books, which I post here. But I would do this one now and then if it would help. You can always pm me to ask, if ever it would help.
Thanks loads

I checked & issue 60 & 61 are showing on the website but they haven't been available to buy online at my store & I've just clicked on the subscription section & they're not showing as available to subscribe so it's very puzzling...if you'll pardon my pun.

Have you tried complaining on tesco facebook page or on their twitter. I find that twitter always works best for me if I have a complaint. They really should be replacing them for you seeing as they were hacked. My sister had hers hacked a while ago and she got them replaced as have many others. You could also email their CEO and complain to them as well ceoemail dot com will give you their email address.lizd31 said:

I've phoned them & emailed them and been given different information several times. One said they were spent in Scotland and another said they were spent in Derbyshire at a store not far away from me. One said they were spent on one particular day & another said a different day. I ended up cancelling my credit card which has my clubcard on it & just getting a separate clubcard as I was so unhappy with them but I'm still having problems with that though they did refund me for the one this week. Anyway I'd better not post anything else as people who subscribe to the thread won't be happy but thanks for all the help everyone
