This puzzle appears online as a wordsearch, but if the mag puzzle is a crossword with shaded squares, could the "E" be an "R" (all the other letters are the same, and both relate to the prize)

No idea if these will be of any interest to anyone, but there are a couple of new Puzzle mags advertised on the Puzzler website: Mighty Monster Fun & Cracking Crosswords. The latter looks like it's aimed at children, and a one off; while the latter is ongoing.

Thought it was also worth mentioning that Puzzler have announced in their Ultimate Christmas Puzzles magazine that they're going to be running an elf hunt on their website between 1st-26th December.
