mortgages while in insolvency

I have heard that you can still get a mortgage while in insolvency the flat were are in at the moment is causinf serious health issues with my family and we can not get another property from housing assocations or our local council and the only other option we have is to buy. does any one know who can provide mortgages.

    If by insolvency you mean an IVA then yes there are mortgages available. If you mean in bankruptcy currently then no.

    As things stand if you are in a current IVA then depending on how long it has been running you can potentially get a mortgage with a minimum of a 10% deposit.

    Speak to a good whole of market broker who has experience with adverse/sub prime/credit repair lenders.
