Jeans for Tall Man

Hello All,

I need decent black or dark fairly smart jeans for work, I also cycle to work and this tends to destroy the crotch quickly. I normally get my jeans from the Big and Tall range from Marks and Spencer as I require 35" leg. I was getting really annoyed with them though as they would still always rip in the the groin and every single pair would have a finite lifespan of only a couple of months or so before they would tear while cycling. Then they brought out this one new model with a different type of the comfort stretchy stuff that were way more forgiving on the moving areas of the material, they were great and still looked and felt like normal jeans but took way longer to start to tear in the groin from cycling, around a year. Anyway, obviously, they have now been discontinued (why do retailers and manufacturers always do this to me?!?!?).

Can anyone recommend jeans for taller men, preferably decently hard wearing but I am willing to try anything now other than M&S 8 week disposable jeans. I did see that Next for instance have a big and tall range as well, most of them are silly trendy skinny jeans for shoreditch Russell Brand types (nothing against Russell brand as a person, I just don't like these silly jeans) but I noticed 2 models out of all of them look fairly 'normal' and they are much cheaper than M&S jeans whos prices used to be good but are steadily creeping up over the years (why would I want to continue to pay increasing amounts for disposable jeans?). Are these Next jeans any good? Any other recommendations? If anyone can recommend iron crotch indestructible jeans that look fairly plain and smart but cost more I would welcome this.

Thank you.

There's a reason people don't cycle in jeans, as you have found! Why not cycle in something designed for that purpose and change when you get to work?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

I have done that some times and have always thought about different ways to do it but my job starts in a different place in a certain area every day (not the same places regularly, random). Where should I get changed, behind a bush somewhere? McDonalds toilet (if there's one near where I'm starting that day)?
