Not sure if cheaper, but they did have this in Wilkinsons the other week. Not a knock-off job either, the real thing.

My friend has brought this for her daughter she said the cakes tasted terrible and her daughter agreed she said it was a waste of money. My daughter goes mad every time the advert is shown was going to get one for Christmas but have decided not too now.

Did buy it- Argos-but believe the cakes taste more like blancmange-more mange than blanc.But it made the little girl happy-hope she doesnt offer me one..
