Destination Wedding and Planner Insurance

Hi everybody,
My partner and I are planning on getting married abroad, we have chosen a wedding planner in the country who is well reviewed and we are very happy with the service so far but we have come up with a bit of a snag on the insurance front.
Our planner does not provide insurance for couples but is encouraging us to seek insurance from a company in the UK (where we live) rather than in Italy (the wedding destination and where they are registered) which sounds reasonable enough.
The problem is that every insurer we have looked through specifically excludes "Wedding Planning Services" i.e.
1. Fees paid to a company which provides services to organise the wedding.
2. Fees paid to the 3rd party suppliers through the wedding planning service who in this case has "budgetary control" over the event.
Has anyone had any experience of this before or any advice on where we might go and look further?
Thanks!

It is a common exclusion to all insurance policies. Surely your contract covers you for this already?0
