Never have any luck with vouchers

So tired to use the coke zero voucher from Martins email with my food shop this morning.............caused lots of confusion at tills then was refusee "it expired on 27th June" even though my voucher clearly has expiry of 18th August written on it.
I never seem to have any luck with vouchers and get terribly embarrassed when I'm holding up the checkouts. Anyone else feel like this?

Hold your own, its in date so you can use it, if SA refuse when paying go to customer service;)
