Made of tempered glass which makes them durable.

Ideal for students, first time buyers, the caravan, or even home, nice & light too.

Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 9 Aug: These products are usually 50p each and aren't on special offer so should be available in store at any Ikea, but it's worth checking online via the links above to be sure there are enough in your local store before making a special trip.
Big thanks to DUKE for the original spot!

I bought a bunch of these to replace a variety of plates and bowls I'd acquired over the years. I bought them in ones and twos while Swipe a Surprise was on, to take advantage of that too (fortunately Ikea wasn't far out of my way or petrol costs would have made this a daft idea).

Overall I'm pleased with them, although you can tell they're not top quality the simple style suits me.

One word of warning though, I'm not convinced by the claim of durability. I accidentally pushed a plate off a table onto a carpeted floor. Less than a metre and it smashed easily. Never mind, I bought a few spares of each, and bagged a few more free doughnuts at the same time!

Bought these for our motorhome and far better than the melamine ones we had before. Wish I'd bought some spares though in case of breakages. Don't get to Ikea very often as it's quite a way to go and fuel costs are high. Will definitely buy some more if we're anywhere near one in the future.
