GE Money

I am thinking of applying to GE Money for a loan of 4000. I recently got rejected by Nortern Rock and have a credit score of 834.
What is the acceptance rate for GE Money and what are they like as a lender?

I agree, don`t take a loan from GE money as their APR is through the roof or did they quote you a reasonable one?
  • The haven't quoted a rate for me. I applied anyways 2 days a go and still no decision made from them.
I don't know who to ask really as i have a FAIR credit rating and don't want to end up applying to loads of providers as that will hinder my credit report right?

Yeah it will show up as searched and I think they stay on your file for 6 mths or a year, I`m not sure which. Have you tried this site for a loan search?
  • i repaid my loan with ge money and had nearly £300 charges added on that were not in the original agreement. Incidently, the loan was with first national which is just another division of ge money who appear to be the parent company of numerous so called loan companies so be very clear with any t&cs imposed and get it in print before signing
