BTL mortgage for first time buyer?

Are there still any lenders providing Buy To Let mortgages to first time buyers?

My job means instability in where I will be located, so I am happy(ish) renting for my own home at the moment. But I have a large deposit which I would like to put to some use.

I have found several properties with very good yields and would rental payments would easily cover mortgage repayments, costs and a small profit.

Problem is I can't find any lenders that are willing to provide a BTL mortgage to a FTB. Does anyone know of any brokers who are likely to help?

Any broker with BTL experience should be able to arrange this for you.

Ask friends or family for a recommendation.

Or try https://unbiased.co.uk to find a broker

or for reviews of brokers from recent clients

As amnblog says, a broker should be able to sort this for you, but unfortunately you are unlikely to happen across the right lender on your own.
