Haven't posted for ages, but am still trucking along with the savings. Our goal this year is to save £1500 per month towards the budget category 'freedom', and so far we're on track.

Most of our investments pay out dividends quarterly, and I was pretty chuffed to get £650 this month. The second quarter usually has the biggest distributions, so that'll probably be a record until next year. Most months are more like £40-50. Looking at it another way, the past month's dividends covered our food, utilities, and council tax without us having to lift a finger.
