There is a general ‘hold action’ letter here which you could for now, just to let your creditors know that you are seeking advice and asking them for 30 days breathing space.

I can’t comment on Stepchange’s application process but the AIB website suggests that you can apply for a 6 week moratorium yourself prior to a DPP if necessary. You can only have one moratorium within 12 months though, so it’s best to discuss the situation with Stepchange as you would want to make sure the timing of your application is going to cover you up to the DPP actually starting.
