Mortgage Offer Received - Now Base Rate Has Dropped

I've received a mortgage offer but not actually started the payments or anything yet.
Does the base rate drop affect this? It's a fixed deal for two years, so I guess not but didn't know if I could query it because we've not actually started it yet.

It will not affect your 2 year fixed rate you have already been offered, no.

The swaps for new products have largely discounted the rate change in the last couple of months, so don't expect a new two year fix to drop by 0.25%.
