It kind of feels like the person has mentioned everything wrong with the son, but doesn't want to other child to feel left out.
But, it does seem to be like folks are getting really desperate now to win things, and as I've said before, wait till Christmas. This board is going to be doing overtime lol.
The mind boggles.

Is it really bad at Christmas? That shaving comment made my head hurt. Worst ones I've seen recently are mentioning their daughter's anorexia to win some loaves of bread and another saying they've always been too poor to afford a packet of 35p Chewits. Makes you want to shout THIS0

I think that last Christmas Advent season was, - I don't want to say the start,- but it seemed more prevalent with the sob stories. I can't really remember it being that bad in previous years. It just seemed to get out of control and has steadily continued throughout the year. There was a thread dedicated - somewhat - to some of the comments, but it got locked as people complained. It did get to the point of outrageous though.
I'm sure we'll see more of the same this year.
I'm also sure on that thread, that we got introduced to the legendary 'Stick man' I can't remember which poster it was, but I hope he makes an appearance this year.

To win some Mega blocks:
Only this morning my daughter said she love some mega blocks so she can play when she gets home from school with her sister.
1) Coincidence?
2) Erm, well buy some then! Why do mice have such small balls?

I'm still cringing on the thread to win Fentiman's products on FB
People are writing poems. Some are saying this prize will get them through the grief of their children going to University. And of course the old fool proof method of posting a funny picture of your pet "waiting" for the product and not being very happy if they don't win.
Fentiman's is soft drinks. Nice drinks in fairness, but I don't think I could bring myself to kiss backside to this extent for a couple of bottles of pop.0 -

If the daughter has anorexia, I doubt the loaves of bread will come in useful!!! Too poor to afford chewits - what planet are these people on? :rotfl::TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
On the other hand I did see an answer to describe our cruise in three words "wow. wow, wow". I thought the person could have made a bit more effort to win a European holiday.
This thread is making me chuckle.0
