Dental Implant + Sinus Lift

The advice below in italics was given to me by dentist. I have a lot of time for him, but the problem is that he needs to involve a specialist and this person never seems to get back and I am tired of running after them, especially is it costs a lot more than a pint of milk.
Can anyone suggest another person(s) who could do the job?
There are two options, either two implants or one implant + bridge. The latter is cheaper of course and I also have difficulty whether there would be a significant advantage to the former in terms of durability/stability etc. Another unanswered question from the elusive expert.
Here are my dentist's words:
The specialist said that it is possible to place an implant in the area and it would need to be done in stages as there is so much bone resorption present.
The first stage wold be a sinus lift, where the lining of the sinus is raised and artificial bone placed in the space. This would be left for a few months to settle.
The second stage would be to place the implant, again this is left for 3-6 months to integrate.
The final stage is to construct a crown to fit on the implant.
Would appreciate comments/recommendations

Ask your dentist who else they recommend, as they can then forward on any copies of X Ray's, ct scan etc the specialist has already taken.0
