We bought the bed about 2 years ago. Base and mattress cost around £500. However, there are a lot cheaper and a lot more expensive beds available in IKEA. It really does depend on your budget and what you are after, heres a link:

I actually just called into "Keen Furniture". They have a 4f 6" by 6f double Divan bed with two drawers and a 1000 pocket spring mattress for £350 including delivery. I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not?

Did you try S&L Castlereagh Road? Most bed shops will have 1000 pocket 2 drawer sets for around the £350 mark, if that's your budget. Ask about guarantees and warranties. At then end it comes down to what is most comfortable for you :)

I second S&L, owner is a lifelong friend and is very accommodating, worth a visit

Thanks for the S&L recommendation, I called out yesterday and their range of beds was poor with even the salesman refusing to recommend many of them.

Their best offer was a 4' 6" Divan with 1800 pocket springs for £399.

Which magazine this month did a budget Mattress review and the Ikea Hesseng Pocket Sprung Mattress @ £540 came second (the Sealy Teramo 1400 was first but much more expensive).

The Ikea Morgedal @£165 was the best budget foam mattress (warning can be warm to sleep on for some).

Appreciate this only covers multiples and not independents but Which rated the best Mattress Shops as John Lewis, Amazon, Warren Evans, Marksies and Mattressman. Not sure which of these do reasonably priced postage though?

Worst were Bensons for Beds, Furniture Village, Argos and Dreams.

Personally I found Soundasleep in Ards very good though a little further to travel.
