Click that you are an intermediary and scroll down a little.

If you have applied directly the timescales may be a little different but this should help. Bare in mind those are averages, so they will include cases that fly through and cases that feel like pulling teeth. I like Skipton though, I have used them consistantly for 3 years and there is the odd case that is painful but in the main they go through fine. Underwriters are pretty sensible too.

  • Thanks for this.

I've got a tracker through them, I am using a mortgage adviser as we are applying for help to buy too..

The underwriting states it needs more information but when ive asked the adviser they've said its not information from us, valuation is booked for tomorrow..

That sometimes happens with Skipton. They do not always remove those requirements even after they have been provided.

Lenders trackers are the bane of my life, they are only useful if updated correctly otherwise they cause more worry and stress.

  • That's a load off my mind!

I've been refreshing daily to see if anything has changed, even the dates don't seem to make much sense really!

I just hope that the valuation goes well and we don't have to wait too long for an offer!
