Selling professional journals online

Hi all,

My dad has over 40 years of professional journals he wants to sell. They are mainly leather bound by year and date from 1972 till a few years ago. They are quite specialist and don't really seem to come up much online, a few old listings on eBay and one on Amazon but not much else.

Does anyone know of companies/book sellers that buy these kind of journals? Or any other way we might sell them? I have had a Google but can't really seem to find much about places to sell them other than the normal online auction sites.

Many thanks,

Clare

He could always try advertising in a current edition of one of the journals or (if they are no longer published) in a journal covering the same profession - but in reality, there probably isn't much demand for them as they are neither old enough to be historically interesting nor modern enough to be useful reference works.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
