  • Hi all,

Hope you don't mind me jumping in on your thread - it seems like a fab way to keep the MSE blinkers on!

    Today I want to:

    - Box up books ready to be posted to musicmagpie
    - Go to the post office with my mazuma parcel
    - Go to £land for some brown tape and bubble wrap for ebay parcels ending tomorrow (and spend no more than £5)
    - Make a PAD to my credit card
    - Do a survey or two
    - Finish up one of my many cross stitch projects
    - Do 30 minutes on the exercise bike (I've been trying to avoid the temptation of a gym subscription)
    - Put the washing on the line (although there are big black clouds out there at the moment!)
    - Get something out of the freezer for tea
    Total Debts @ LBM (May 2012): £14685 / Current total: £5713
My goal: debt free (apart from Mortgage) by July 2018

    Evening all :)
Thanks for starting the thread La E :)

 Hello PeppermintPatti, we like to see new people here :)

My list for today, such as it is:
Wrapped and posted latest ebay parcels
Took the plunge and subscribed to an ebay shop - hope it works out to be cost effective, but if not it is no big deal to cancel
Packed all ebay boxes into the eaves cupboard in the loft conversion, as GD1 is coming tomorrow to stay for a few days and will be using the room - now I have shoved all the boxes into the cupboard, someone is bound to buy an item right at the bottom of the hardest to reach box :rotfl:
C-opted OH to help with the housework :D
All food from home - OH is out so I haven't bothered to cook anything just for me, just had a ham and coleslaw sandwich and some YS potato salad I picked up yesterday
Picked a handful of cherry tomatoes
Picked and froze a colander full of French beans
Picked a load of courgettes, chopped them (and the rest of the mountain) up and they are currently roasting in the oven. May investigate freezing them to add to pasta sauces etc :)
Got a tub of soup out of the freezer for tomorrow
Cleared up after dog twice, as he still has a runny tummy :(
Babysat for a couple of hours for DD - I am having little GD all day tomorrow and Saturday as well, so good job the housework is under control!

Bob - I would sell the lego in bundles and then if you've got any boards, sell them separately.

Morning and thanks for the start La E.

Sorry not read all of yesterdays or todays thread but having some problems with the refurb yest/today but did see Bob's message so need to reply! Re Lego, my two have only ever had sets of lego given we've never bought any 2nd hand I'm afraid. I asked the ds's and they said that its more often a specific piece they are looking for shapewise rather then a colour. Sorry not much help!! (They did say they'd have your ds's lego though!! to which I replied "you have MORE then enough!"

Hope everyones doing ok and I will read up later if I get chance.

Ha ha thats so funny and sweet :) tell them to let me know if they need anything specific and I will send it over before I put it on ebay :T
