I have been disappointed by some diffusers which seem to lose their fragrance after a short time.
Has anyone got a recommendation for a long-lasting floral reed diffuser that doesn't cost the earth?

Dunelm Mill have some nice ones and are the only place I have ever seen that sell refills!

I had a Next one bought for me for my Birthday in November. I think it stopped smelling as soon as you came in the house around March. You could still smell it when you were in the room but not so strong.
I think they cost about £15. I personally wouldn't buy one as I can't justify the cost but I expect that is what you have to pay to get one that lasts.
I suppose it isn't too expensive if you divide the cost by how long it lasts.0 -
Yankee Candle are expensive but last for ages. Unfortunately they stopped doing my favourite smell a few years ago and I've never found one I like as much.

I'm one of those who love some of the smells but get fed up with them after awhile. The only 'smelly' I have in the house is a small block I got from Aldis for 49p and it last for ages I keep it in the porch so it smells nice but not overpowering when you come through the front door I also have an inner door so its only in the porch that you can smell it.
The rest of the house is 'free' smelling as I open the windows back and front and get a through draft to make the house smell fresh, sometimes you can smell the washing in off the line but that's about all. I certainly wouldn't fork out £15 for a smell unless it was to go behind my ears or on my wrists:):)

The neom ones are quite good, but like anything once you get used to the fragrance you don't notice it as much.0

I had a Joe Malone one for a gift once which I considered hugely extravagant but in fact it lasted well over a year and was really special, so I thought of the donor daily, which is really nice. I would buy for myself when I am feeling really flush!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

I recently bought an electric diffuser from a car boot sale, along with about 20 little bottles of essential oil. They are hugely expensive online and even my partner concedes that the £3 spent was very well worthwhile! It changes colour as well so is quite a talking point.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
