Replacing Breadmaker

Hi everyone.
It looks like after many years of fantastic service my panasonic bread maker needs replacing.
I would prefer a panasonic again, any suggestions for the best current model, and has anyone seen any bargains out there at the moment.
Thank you in advance.
Jue :)

Have you looked on Ebay? It is also worth looking on gumtree in your area. Having just sold most of the contents of my late Mothers home, she had hardly used so much of the kitchen stuff. You may well find a bargain. Or do you only want to buy new?
Mine is a Panasonic, still going even though it is years old. You like me, like to stick with the tried and trusted. Google the WHICH reviews, if you want to buy new. They may help.

    Hi Tips
Thank you for your kind reply, I am happy to have a second hand one, and have been looking on e bay........ one close enough to collect.
I haven't found one yet so will keep looking.
I didn't think about gum tree so will have a look there too.
I aren't in a rush so have the time to look around.
I can always need a loaf by hand.

Looks like Lidl are getting Silvercrest ones in Thursday 4th August, seems to be a model with a delay timer.

I have recently replaced my beloved 20 year old Panasonic. I thought it would be good to get a breadmaker with an automatic dispenser for fruit, nuts, olives etc. but have been disappointed.
The dispenser isn't large enough to add the amount that I like to use. The bread feels like ordinary bread that has had fruit, or olives, whatever mixed into it. Not nearly as nice as my hand-made recipes for different breads.
It still makes a fantastic basic loaf, but I could have saved money by buying the simpler model.

Lawsons always have them on offer. The Panasonic is amazing and tbh there aren't many differences between newer/ older models. I bout one on eBay, it was an unwanted wedding present, went to look at it and it was still boxed but got it half price. It's worth looking around on eBay and gumtree as they come up all the time :-)

Thank you for your help Kim, Jacky and Richard.
I have checked ebay and gum tree again today but nothing close enough for me.
I will keep looking though there isn't any rush, happy to wait for a bargain.
I buy most of my food shopping in lidl but really prefer to have a panasonic bread maker, I guess I've been spolit with my old one.

Oh what a shame. I will keep a look out for you. I think there is another auction site on line. I cannot remember the name of hand. When I remember it I will have a look for you. I will post the link if anything comes up. I will look in my own area as well. If I find a bargain, I will find out the courier cost for you. I live in Bournemouth. They all have too much money here, and always have to have the latest of everything. All the more bargains for me!

Also keep a look out on Amazon, I got a Panasonic on a deal of the day for £69.99 back in March.

If I ever see one coming up again, will let you know.

The new one is still lurking at my parents. Couldn't fit it in my luggage allowance when I was over in UK, so will have to wait until my next visit.
