This thread has become pretty negative. But please don't take it personally OP.
I'm sure most posters would like to see you and your family remain in the home that means so much to you all.
I guess the concerns people have are that your parents giving away their equity could leave them vulnerable and if huge equity is given to you it is unfair to your sister.
Question for those that know about mortgages: could the OP and his mother apply for a joint mortgage for the outstanding mortgage while the existing equity is protected by a charge for mum and dad?
