Lenders who are more lenient on consent to let.

Good evening,
I have a rather simple question someone may be able to help out with based on experience. I currently own my apartment and am looking to re-mortgage. In a few years time I will potentially be moving out and will be looking for a consent to let on my mortgage as opposed to a full re-mortgage.
Are there any lenders who are fairly open to this, with a simple % fee add or even better just admin charges?
Skipton for example simply add 1% on to the charges and charge an admin fee for doing so. Are there any others who are happy to do this?

We have a list of policies from main lenders on our website.
I cannot post that here, but pm me if you want it.I am a Mortgage Broker

Hi!
I went through a similar situation myself. It's always quite tricky when it comes to letting. Rather than going through a specific lender, have you thought about a mortgage broker? I ended up getting one and he helped me out no end! I wasn't remortgaging as such but it was for a buy to let mortgage so it might do you some good. I found one on My Big Move, try them or someone similar.
Good luck anyway, hopefully you get some decent tenants!

I would speak to a broker, as its sounds like you own your flat outright and want to release equity for some reason - a broker would be best person to speak to rather than you going to the high street.0 -
Lenders will look at the reason behind a CTL. If your aim is to let the property longer term then you may have to switch to BTL.0
