Calor gas cookers

Hi, can anyone recommend a place that stocks calor gas cookers in the Belfast area? We don't have mains gas, but much prefer to cook with gas.

I believe that most gas cookers can be converted to calor with a kit, but you'd need to ask at the place that sells them. I've always bought calor cookers 2nd hand, got a bargain on Gumtree with my newish one.

It's just an adjustment/swapping over bits on the burners, from what I remember. You just need to tell them that you're going to be running it off bottled gas.

I recommend keeping an electric oven/grill, though. Two reasons: 1. They tend to cook a little more evenly. 2. When the gas runs out you still have something to cook with...

Thanks for the advice. Didn't know about conversion, and will keep an eye on Gumtree too.

Some cookers come with both burner jets for Mains Gas and Bottled.

Just need to fit the ones that are needed
