    Today I've taken 2 of my 6 ISA funds and applied for a pension. I'm now in 2 thoughts again though as I didn't realise the nazi government don't give you the choice of when to draw down. 55 earliest & likely to rise :f

    I think you should carry out some research about what it is that you're applying for, this is hardly shocking information that has been hidden away in small print.

    You have choice as long as it is after age 55. The clue is in the name of the tax wrapper. Pension. The Govt gives tax advantages to encourage saving towards retirement. It would not be logical if it allowed earlier access. That is what the ISA (and other tax wrappers) are for.
