Hi
I was just wondering if anyone knows which lottery has the best odds that we can enter from the UK. I would really like to try and win a large sum to help clear debts and travel etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Any lottery is gambling - with the odds stacked towards the operator
If you are in debt, then best advise is not to gamble as you will get further into debt0 -
fair enough, I understand that. But I only intend to put in a couple of pounds a week just enough to enter. I do not have a gambling problem!0

We'd all like to win a few quid but there's not much chance of even pennies.
Instead, put your 2 quid a week towards paying off your debts and stop spending money on stuff you don't want or stuff you will never use and only have one night out once a month and use the savings to help clear your debts.0 -
Not large sums but best odds is probably the free postcode lottery. Make sure its the free one, not the one you pay for. Main draw is £300 per day and it rolls over. https://www.freepostcodelottery.comThank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0

Euro Millions has the best odds of winning for £2 a ticket winning £3.20 for 2 balls minimum etc might make a huge step in clearing the debt.

The least worst odds are probably those you can get by placing a bet on the health lottery with Coral - The payouts are fixed amounts the same as the health lottery but no sharing so 5 from 5 is a guaranteed £100,000 and additionally there is the slim chance of winning a million by matching all 5 and correctly picking the bonus ball.
Otherwise the 49's for £1 but you have to match all the numbers you pick - so pick 3 and match 3 for £700, match 4 from 4 pays £10,000 and 5 from 5 is £150,000 (3 from 4, 4 from 5 etc pays nothing)
None of these or any others you pay for should be entered if you "need" to win rather than just doing them for a bit of fun/dreaming money.0 -
thank you for your replies. Perhaps I should have just posed the question 'which lottery has the best odds of winning' rather than putting the bit about clearing debts as I really don't need debt advice thank you.
Thanks for your concern though.0 -
To win big:
national lottery 1 in 45 million
Euromillions 1 in 140 million
Irish lotto is only 1 in 45,000 but with an est return of about £360)£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
I give up on the lottery when they put extra 10 numbers in couldn't win anything before
The euro lottery is going up to £2.50 and they added extra star as well
I only do the irish lottery I just pick 2 numbers I win £30 for 50p won 33 times this year
But all lotterys or just down to luck0
