There is always the battery issue with a mobile. Also had bugs on an android phone where the alarm occasionally didn't work0 -

Perhaps ask the question on a relevant board if you want a technical answer. Even if the reason you want it is to get up at different times to go to work it's really got naff all to do with this board.0

I have a 'wake up' alarm on my main fairly smartphone, and on two ancient Nokias without SIMs. The batteries on them last for weeks ... and they make a heck of a lot more noise than my phone phone.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
every basic phone alarm does it as stated. also, as stated, get a usb power pack. not an ebay one though.0
