Ive done it

After reading through the many posts on here I contacted payplan with a view to arranging a DMP to settle my unsecured creditors.

Made the first step last night providing details of the debt which falls to just under £25k. Will quite happilly make payments of £700 a month towards this and hopefully be debt free in just over three years time.

I am looking forward to the return call with payplans proposal but so far have found them to be very professional.

I was actually nervous before payplan called last night but the chap who I spoke with was very understanding and not at all judgemental and now I feel relieved!

Hi, Well done on taking the step. It certainly is a relief when you make the call after the agony and anxiety. I had the best night sleep in months the day I made my call to the CCCS ;)

As Clapton suggested if you post up your Statement of Affairs we may be able to give you some moneysaving pointers ;)

The day you make your first payment to the DMP it's like a huge weight being lifted and the best feeling.

I am with CCCS (since May) and can only say I wish I'd done it sooner - much much sooner!! ;)

  • Hi

I have a debt which is with two collection agencies, around £3000 with one and around £400 with another. Unfortunately I went travelling for a year and lost my way with payments. Could I use payplan for this?? Obviously I now struggle to get a loan due to me missing the payments and them going to an agency. Any help would be appreciated!!
