Desperate: can I get a mortgage with a Limited Leave to Remain

Hi all
I am trying to find a lender who will lend without indefinite leave to remain. I have rather special circumstances and have been refused a mortgage twice, so I'm worried about trying it again with a lender who may do the same without checking my circumstances.
I'm not sure what more I can do to be able to secure a mortgage. Has anyone else been in a similar situation or does anyone know whether there are lenders prepared to lend based on this info?
I've already missed out on a couple of great properties because of this, so would really appreciate any help right now!!!

- I have been in the UK for 9 years, and have a discretionary leave to remain which expires in march 2018, after which I will be eligible for indefinite leave.
- I have a job on a fixed term contract for 2 years, which is due to expire in September 2017 (I'm a graduate so it's my first full time job).
- My credit rating is excellent but I can't be on the electoral roll, as I am not a British Citizen (but I've put a note on my report to explain)
- My salary is decent and I have a 25% deposit secured.

It sounds straightforward.
How many independent brokers have you spoken to who suggested you would have a problem?I am a mortgage broker. Most mortgage application forms state that you need to be a permanent resident of the UK. I would be very surprised if you managed to get a mortgage without being on the electoral roll and not a permanent resident of the UK.0

Who told you that? Are you a common wealth citizen or an EU citizen? if yes, you can easily put yourself.
ILR is more than enough to get mortgage. I know people with Tier 1 limited leave to remain for 2 years has got mortgage.0 -

I've done my own research. Of course I'm neither of those things. I know that you can get a mortgage if you are EEA or Commonwealth citizen, but if you're not, it seems no lenders will give you a mortgage without ILR
Of course ILR is more than enough, my problem is that I don't have it!I've never heard of anyone getting a mortgage on Limited leave to remain...

I don't know where to find a broker who would be experienced with that. I do have a broker but she never even asked to see what type of leave I had... Plus they cost a lot of money, and I'm not prepared to lose the money if there is no solution0 -

Key word is without. Amnblog is saying it won't necessarily be a problem.0 -

If you have over 2 years of remaining VISA / leave to remain, you can easily secure mortgage...0
