Once you are in your router and have signed in with password, click on advanced and then look for NETWORK. This should show a map with everything -Wireless and Wired - connected to (active) and everything that has been connected to (inactive) along with the IP address. Once you have noted everything, hit the refresh button and that will show active connections only. I note you have followed others instructions and all is OK now but you might need this info in the future and it is always good to be able to be these things at your leisure rather than in a hurry.
hi, I have done as you say, but no network to click on to,

There is a second advance tools in the advance menu, but nothing just saying network?
    There,s WLAN access rules
    Multiple sides
WLAN performance, plus others on left side.
I,m not using my wifi password, but PC admin

I can change my password or UN, but do you think I need to?

Yes you must change the password and user name considering you haven't do you have wpa2 security with a strong password on your wireless if not your completely open for anybody to connect, access your machines and change your networks settings.

Hi, Yes got WPA-PSK-WPA2-PSK in wifi, and wifi network name and 8 digit password, mixture letters and numbers on a card, supplied by TT when I had the new router 12 months ago.
No one can access wifi without it.
Even my kids ask for it when they come, and want to use my wifi for their ipads, or i-phones, as without it, they cannot log on my network to use them.
I have just come out of router again, cannot see anything iffy, but, as I said, don't really know what to look for? If I was hacked and they changed settings, I wouldn't be able to login would I.
They could piggyback, but could they monitor my ipad ?
  • What does TT stand for?

    Is it Talk Talk?

If so, I wouldn't trust the default password, and would change it for a different (ie. very strong) password.

    Hi, yes it's Talk talk.
I've just logged into my router, with admin admin, and logged out.
BUT, now, when I type the 192.168.1.1,in browser, it auto lets me into router, doesn't request UN and PW, admins?
    Just change my PW??
That would mean I would need to re-login my i-pad with it, correct?
Are we talking changing Administrator password or PSK network key, which is my wireless password??

Ideally you should change both the Router access codes, and the the WiFi password, and continue to change the second, one from time to time.

    where should it be?

EDIT;I have found the PSK 8 digit key for wifi login, in Manual set up for Wifi, not using the wizard. SO presume it's that, just delete and change, and add/ apply at the bottom ???
All the wifi routers I've had, the Default Password has always been 8 digits in upper case.
Presume it's case sensitive if I change it?

I am in my router now, in DHCP table.
According to this there are 4 IP addresses.
    All active?
First is my PC, lan interface. 192.168.1.2
    Next is my iPad.wlfi. 192.168.1.3
    Next is n/a 192.168.1.4
    Last is 67DC7 192.168.1.5
    All active!
I am presuming HP is my wifi printer 1.5, but no idea what n/a 1.4 is?
    MAC address is EO:CB:1D:03:9C:35
Could it be my PC wifi which is Ethernet, but, wifi is off?
    These are all auto?
This morning there was only my iPad and PC active.
Another was red, inactive,so turned printer on, HP, but now there,s a fourth!
    Could this be a piggyback?
The host name n/a means nothing to me?
