By entering this competition, participants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.2. This competition is open to UK and Ireland residents aged over 16 only. Each club or group and photo entered must consist of a minimum of 4 people.3. Eligible clubs or groups must submit their entries before 30th November 2007 online at <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com/clubs</a>. One entry per club is permitted.4. Employees of the Debenhams group of companies (Debenhams), their families and/or anyone connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.5. No purchase is necessary to enter.6. By entering this competition, participants agree to grant Debenhams a perpetual, royalty free, non-exclusive licence to publish, modify, sub-license and otherwise use the material submitted as it wishes free of moral rights in any media in connection with this competition and associated promotions. This will include but not be limited to entries remaining online on <a href="http://www.debenhams.com" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com</a> and being available for public view for voting and selection of a choice of style opinions. Winners further acknowledge that the information and images they submit may be used in post-event publicity run by Debenhams. 7. Entries considered in any way unsuitable, inappropriate, offensive, unlawful or otherwise objectionable will not be published on <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com/clubs</a>. Debenhams reserves the right to remove any entries at its discretion at any time or edit any comments submitted.8. Debenhams will not be liable in any way for any images or comments submitted including but not limited to any error or omissions in such content or any loss or damage of any kind resulting from use of the images and comments submitted.9. Whilst all reasonable steps have been taken, Debenhams does not warrant that any functions contained in or provided as part of the <a href="http://www.debenham.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenham.com/clubs</a> site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, viruses or bugs.10. Participants warrant that (i) the images and information they submit are their own original work, do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third parties and that they have the right to make them available for the purposes specified, (ii) that they are not defamatory, offensive, abusive, threatening, illegal or unlawful or otherwise inappropriate in any way; and (iii) they have obtained any necessary consent or permission from the persons featured in the photograph and/or any relevant club or association to enter, having made them aware of these Terms and Conditions. Participants further agree to indemnify Debenhams against any costs, damages, fees or expenses it may incur as a result of breach of this paragraph 10.11. The winning clubs will be selected from the top 10 clubs as voted for by the general public online. Public voting will end on 1st December 2007. The final selection will be made by a panel of judges at Debenhams.12. There is one top prize for the winning group or club, which will consist of a £5000 [or €7500] one-off spending spree in a local Debenhams’ store, plus amakeover and photo shoot. Photos from the shoot will be published in the Spring edition of Debenhams Desire Magazine. The winning club or group must be available for the selection of clothing and photo-shoot on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th January 2008.13. There will also be 3 runners’ up prizes awarded, based on three categories: the Wackiest Club Entry, the Funniest Club and the Best Real Club Entry. The prize in each category will be a £1000 [€1500] one-off shopping spree in Debenhams. 14. The shopping spree prizes will be remitted to the person submitting the entry who will be deemed the ‘club leader’ and duly authorised to make the entry on behalf of the participants and/or club or association and receive any prize on behalf of the club or group concerned. Once remitted to the club leader, Debenhams will have no responsibility in respect of onward transmission of the prize. 15. The winner will be chosen by the Debenhams’ panel of judges [from the top 10 clubs] on Monday 3rd December 2007. The winner will be notified by email within the following 5 days. If the winner cannot be contacted within this time or the winning club or group is not available for the photo-shoot, then a new winner will be selected. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into relating to the outcome of the competition.16. The style club makeover will include a selection of product purchased from Debenhams that photo-shoot participants may keep after the shoot. The club or group makeover must include a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 9. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the photo-shoot images shall belong to Debenhams free from any moral or other rights. Selection of the images for subsequent publication and any other use will be a matter entirely for Debenhams’ discretion. 17. By entering this competition, participants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.2. This competition is open to UK and Ireland residents aged over 16 only. Each club or group and photo entered must consist of a minimum of 4 people.3. Eligible clubs or groups must submit their entries before 30th November 2007 online at <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com/clubs</a>. One entry per club is permitted.4. Employees of the Debenhams group of companies (Debenhams), their families and/or anyone connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.5. No purchase is necessary to enter.6. By entering this competition, participants agree to grant Debenhams a perpetual, royalty free, non-exclusive licence to publish, modify, sub-license and otherwise use the material submitted as it wishes free of moral rights in any media in connection with this competition and associated promotions. This will include but not be limited to entries remaining online on <a href="http://www.debenhams.com" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com</a> and being available for public view for voting and selection of a choice of style opinions. Winners further acknowledge that the information and images they submit may be used in post-event publicity run by Debenhams. 7. Entries considered in any way unsuitable, inappropriate, offensive, unlawful or otherwise objectionable will not be published on <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenhams.com/clubs</a>. Debenhams reserves the right to remove any entries at its discretion at any time or edit any comments submitted.8. Debenhams will not be liable in any way for any images or comments submitted including but not limited to any error or omissions in such content or any loss or damage of any kind resulting from use of the images and comments submitted.9. Whilst all reasonable steps have been taken, Debenhams does not warrant that any functions contained in or provided as part of the <a href="http://www.debenham.com/clubs" target="_blank">www.debenham.com/clubs</a> site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, viruses or bugs.10. Participants warrant that (i) the images and information they submit are their own original work, do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third parties and that they have the right to make them available for the purposes specified, (ii) that they are not defamatory, offensive, abusive, threatening, illegal or unlawful or otherwise inappropriate in any way; and (iii) they have obtained any necessary consent or permission from the persons featured in the photograph and/or any relevant club or association to enter, having made them aware of these Terms and Conditions. Participants further agree to indemnify Debenhams against any costs, damages, fees or expenses it may incur as a result of breach of this paragraph 10.11. The winning clubs will be selected from the top 10 clubs as voted for by the general public online. Public voting will end on 1st December 2007. The final selection will be made by a panel of judges at Debenhams.12. There is one top prize for the winning group or club, which will consist of a £5000 [or €7500] one-off spending spree in a local Debenhams’ store, plus amakeover and photo shoot. Photos from the shoot will be published in the Spring edition of Debenhams Desire Magazine. The winning club or group must be available for the selection of clothing and photo-shoot on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th January 2008.13. There will also be 3 runners’ up prizes awarded, based on three categories: the Wackiest Club Entry, the Funniest Club and the Best Real Club Entry. The prize in each category will be a £1000 [€1500] one-off shopping spree in Debenhams. 14. The shopping spree prizes will be remitted to the person submitting the entry who will be deemed the ‘club leader’ and duly authorised to make the entry on behalf of the participants and/or club or association and receive any prize on behalf of the club or group concerned. Once remitted to the club leader, Debenhams will have no responsibility in respect of onward transmission of the prize. 15. The winner will be chosen by the Debenhams’ panel of judges [from the top 10 clubs] on Monday 3rd December 2007. The winner will be notified by email within the following 5 days. If the winner cannot be contacted within this time or the winning club or group is not available for the photo-shoot, then a new winner will be selected. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into relating to the outcome of the competition.16. The style club makeover will include a selection of product purchased from Debenhams that photo-shoot participants may keep after the shoot. The club or group makeover must include a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 9. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the photo-shoot images shall belong to Debenhams free from any moral or other rights. Selection of the images for subsequent publication and any other use will be a matter entirely for Debenhams’ discretion. 17. The name and county of the winning clubs will be available until 31st March 2008 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Club Competition, Direct Marketing, Debenhams Retail plc, 33 Wigmore Street, London WIU IQX.
