I submitted my BR application two weeks ago and am showing on the bankruptcy register. I have had a phone call from a lady asking a few questions about my situation, she said she would email me and send further info to me in the post.
I haven't had any further contact from anyone by phone or letter. I am still getting contacted from my creditors wanting payments etc. Do I tell them I'm bankrupt?
I have also had to use my bank account (basic main account opened for bankruptcy) for DD and general living costs, wages paid in etc, it has not been frozen and it appears that my other accounts with OD balances are still running?
Should I just wait till hear something and ignore the creditor letters/phone calls?

This was exactly how it was for me as well when I first applied just over 2 weeks ago - submitted the application, bankruptcy order was made against me the next day, a couple of days later a lady from the OR rang me to discuss my situation further and said they would be in touch again to arrange for a telephone or face to face interview.
Fast forward to late last week, I receive a large letter through the post from the OR basically outlining everything that has been carried out up to now, to arrange a telephone interview with me for next week to discuss things more - but also they requested for me to post to them bank account, credit card statements from the past 12 months, proof of loan agreements and any other credit agreements / debts that I have to my name and also a sign a few other forms for them to send back.
Around the same time I notice that the bankruptcy order has been noted on my credit file, I also receive a letter from Severn Trent making me aware that the OR has made them aware of my bankruptcy - which I was surprised about as I was not in any debt with them and nor did I note them down when I did the application, but it was to outline that they are still happy to provide me a service and to keep paying as normal.
Things may seem a bit of the quiet side as you can imagine, but it's clear that action is being taken and especially where you least expect to see it too and I'm sure it's the same for you too - don't forget this can take up to 12 months or even more for everything to be sorted out, from the time of cooperating with the OR at the start right the way through to the debts being sorted out accordingly.
One thing to remember is to try and not worry too much in the meantime, especially as far as notifying creditors are concerned - the lady at the OR said I can write to them / submit my bankruptcy order to them right away if I wished but they will do this anyway in due course.
EDIT - I forgot to mention that as far a I can see, my old bank account may of been frozen at some point as the letter I received from them also has a copy of the bankruptcy order they sent to them - but as I was not overdrawn with that current account at the time of the bankruptcy order being made, they are still happy for me to keep that account open and it's down to me if I want to continue using it or close it.

Hi
The guide on the gov.uk website says you’ll usually receive an email or letter from the adjudicator within 28 days of submitting your application to say if you’ve been made bankrupt.

It’s up to you, but you could tell any creditors that contact you that you’ve submitted your bankruptcy application. They can search the Insolvency Register if they need convincing.

If your creditors ring, tell them you are BR & it will at least put a stop to them calling. It makes life much easier and takes only a minute to do.
If your BR number is on the register then give creditors that too.
Nothing worse than constant phone calls!
Edit to say use your basic account as normal if that is the one you stated was your every day account. That's fine to do. Ignore the overdrawn accounts.
Ignore creditor letters & just wait for the OR to contact.
