  • I was in Boots at the Clinique counter yesterday and I overheard a SA telling a lady that when you buy 3 items you get 1000 points and a free Bonus Time style gift box so as I happened to be buying the 3 step system I thought this was great but when I was paying I didn't get the free box, I had to ask one other lady for it and she told me she didn't know what I was talking about until I told her it was the stripey box under the counter. She wasn't pleased to be putting it in my bag as she mentioned it was the last one...I think she wanted it for herself!
  • Hi all Bristol Bootsers, haven't had any good bargains for a while so haven't pm'd. Went to Cribbs today and got 2x 4 pack of J&J wipes £2.39 each, there were at least 5 or 6 packs left on the shelf. but best of all if you use jars of baby food, boots own (mums recipe?) egg custard and choccy banana pud were 15p each instead of 45p!!!! got 6 choccy and 12 egg custard as were off to Haven in 12 days! even the lovely sa was amazed! (paid at the quick counter by the sandwiches). :j

P.S DH got his parenting vouchers through today (the first lot with the chaging bag voucher etc), can't use them just yet though as ds 2 is only 7mths and after the over 60's saga, i've been "lying low" for a while!!

I forgot my lunch this morning (I was in a rush to catch my train to work) so I thought I'd treat myself to a meal deal. To my surprise there was a sticker on my sandwich saying: 2.00 men's skincare voucher inside. You can use this on: RS, L'oreal, botanics and nivea. I also noticed there was a sign up on the botanics shelf saying: free wipes with any purchase:D I feel better already!

I picked up a couple of N7 bargains too! I got 2xbrow pencils for 50p each 2xnail polish for 25p each and 3 eye shadows that went through @ 3 4 2 so £1.00 for all 3:j not sure why the other items didn't got through @ 3 4 2 but eye shadows definitely did.

If anyone wants memory cards, high street kensington had loads this afternoon (upstairs) all priced at £2.50 I didn't buy any 'cos they wouldn't fit my camera and I don't think spending £2.50 just to earn 500points is actually money saving:D
  • went into boots in great bridge today, just to check the latest acm offers and also to see what clearance 90% off items were left, (i'd already got a full basket full from yesterday) and low and behold, i won 1000 points for the advantage card 10th birthday.

    yeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaa

    :j :j :j

they don't mind at all if you have 2 different cards.
Re the toothbrush - it's on offer at the moment and your OH probably won't get his new parenting vouchers in time to use the +2000 points on this. I think I've got a spare one lying around which I would happily send you if you pm me your address!

Crazyposh gal - thanks for the new thread!

Hi there. I don't suppose anyone else has a spare voucher for 2000 points lying around. Need a new electric toothbrush and getting the points would be great.

    Thanks.

The staff discount is as random as the sale reductions. It's meant to be 22.5% for Boots products and 12.5% on non-Boots products but sometimes it's more and sometimes it's less. It just depends on what specific item you're buying
