Is it common for them to have lower prices for items on the website and more special offers then in store?

Yes, there are often lower prices online. eg, the no7 eye pencils are only £3 odd online and £6.50 instore. :( not sure about offers though as there are sooo many.. usually they tend to keep them similar.. £5 off voucher for no7 instore but 500pts online i think??
Ugh I wanted to dent my £30 worth of points, not my wallet, hehe

Me too! I have £100 on my AC and wanted to buy a buggy but its only online and no stores anywhere near me have it, if i order from catalogue i cant pay with points... not so great saving them up when you cant spend in one big go..

someone on here suggested saving pts until the sale and i think i'll end up doing that this time.

Has anyone else stopped getting total spend vouchers since the new ACM's have been in use. Tried mine OH and MIL cards today... nothing!
  • Just went to oxford street boots and managed to use the £5 off voucher on a pair of no7 hand gloves (which you put on once you've put your cream on) which were £5. They had lots of stuff you could use the voucher on including:

    exfoliator sponge £3.50
    cleanser sponge £3.50
    no7 gloves £5
    nail buffer set £4
    eye lash curler £6

And few other bits and pieces!

Also, ACM gave me 3 free kodak prints...unfortunately printed out blank on the voucher. told an SA who said photo counter would accept it no problem. Which they did. so managed to get 6 free prints!! :D

I think the offers on the ACM have changed... i got one for 500points off Renu multi purpose contact lens solution valid til 20th November.

    Hth!:D

yeh i printed the kodak vouchers off and mine were blank too they said it was because they wernt sure if the offer was going to be staying or not??? but they wouldnt take mine:(

(Hope this doesn't double post as just got chucked out mid post).

Has anyone discovered any logic in the allocation of vouchers in the last mail out? I know we talked about it many posts back. My Mum was rather surprised to get a voucher for incontinence products. She might be a senior but she only ever goes into Boots to buy No7 and her hair serum so it can't be based on buying patterns! She also, mysteriously, got one for a cold sore remedy - not only has she never had one in her life, she has never bought a product in Boots that could be remotely associated.

No disrespect to those with such afflictions, but she is so offended that Boots might be stereotyping its senior customers as scabby incontinents she may never darken its doors again!!

I have had total spend vchrs but they have been absolute pants, which I assumed was due to the Xmas offers. Just hoping that things will improve in the New year. The last vchr was 500 pts on a £70 spend, interestingly it still offers free P+P on purchases over £40  .

Husband has progressed from getting nothing (just the 'not available' notice which is clearly untrue  ) to comps only. I have started to use his card to build up the points in the hope that this will trigger something.

I wish there was some sort of pattern.

Dare i out them? It wouldn't be burton on trent would it? my not so lovely local? They do seem to be annoyed if you get a bargain. In some other stores you can use the £5 voucher with clearance items. This store did have lots of but the no.7 sa's guard it with their life and now put a home made sign up saying you can't use vouchers on clearance products. I am always made to feel i am doing something wrong almost like stealing sa's offen say uhh we might as well pay you to shop here, They never try vouchers first before saying you can't use it on that. last week an sa wouldn't let me use the £5 voucher with 3 4 2 i very politely said would you just try it for me the till is alway right and if it accepts it then it's ok. I also once tried to use a £5 sanctuary voucher and the sa called the manager to ok it as it wasn't a boots voucher even though i was just given it in store.

A couple of girls on the main till are nice - can't remember their names - but the No 7 girls are a bit fierce. I'm going to Westfield tomorrow to have a look there,,,parking is £9 a day so I don't think it'll be full.
  • Boots baby expert baby wipes are £2.55 a pack and currently on bogof. If you received the boots mailing you may have the coupon for half price baby expert product. Taking 2 packs to £1.27, But the acm has 100point coupons on any baby expert product. Meaning £1 back in points so total cost 27p for 2 packs of wipes

I have posted this on the Wales board, but I am sure it won't just be in Swansea, so might be worth checking out in your area.

The main branch of Boots (Swansea Quadrant) is offering 10% off on
    8th November 5-9pm
    22nd November 5-9 pm
    6th December 5- 10pm

The flyer states that other discount vouchers or store promotions can't be used in conjunction, but there is no mention of a minimum spend and 342 still applies.

This is in addition to the extra points nights.
