  • A couple of weeks ago Edinburghgirl put this.

So apparently you cant pay points if you order it in and it also does not count as part of your 342.

EDITED - Does anyone like or know anyone who like Charlie Silver. pm me please.

Also dont forget tonight is the last of the triple points.

you can do a 342 if you order everything instore- you cant combine instore purchase and order purchase for 342

Could you combine this offer with the 500 points from the parenting club to get a total of 1500 points on a £20 spend? Plus you'd get xx points when you spend £xx amount from the acm (assuming that they are available on the day).

Yeah you can, however, if like me you cant get to your boots store well your stuck with the online offers. :(

I did manage an order worth £51 paid £41 and got 2193 pts so thats not too bad.

Gutted though as im still stuck with 6 Olay vouchers now.

EDITED - Thanks Edinburghgirl for that. My mind was boggled with it all lol. Its going to take a lot of working out on how im going to be best to get my stuff now.

The same thing happened to me late last year. I bought lots of baby food reduced jars as they were making way for new ranges. The staff had put the reduced labels on the top obscuring the BB dates. When I got home I removed the labels and 2 of the jars were out of date by 3 months!! I contacted the store, they panicked and said someone would call me. They rang and apologised and that was it.

I decided to call Trading Standards as was v v angry as it was a jar that contained meat. TS were really quite good. They took details straight away, came round the next day and inspected the jars etc etc. HOWEVER apparently as the jars say BB dates they are NOT breaking the law although ideally it should be made known to the customer that items are past their best. TS went into Boots to examine the other jars and spoke with Boots Manager and they were told off for putting labels over the BB dates. Boots told me their policy is that baby food etc is removed from the shelves 3 months BEFORE the best before date.

I finally got a £20 gift card about 4 months later  Pretty bad really, I had always been careful checking dates anyway but this has made me very very wary. I bought out of date food from Superdrug not long after (sooo annoyed with myself for being in a hurry and forgetting to check dates) they just apologised, no gesture, didnt even give me the replacement free. I think I should have argued a bit more but was with a screaming baby at the time!!

I think you should report it to TS as a least it will help keep your local store on their toes!

I bought some out of date chocolate from Superdrug, as it doesn't bother me (a month out Aero bubbles), and I notified them about the others, they didn't care, yet a month earlier when I showed them a multipack 12 pack crisp bag SIX MONTHS out of date, they jumped to it! No idea how they missed all those.

Bought 2 x Toys reduced from £29.99 to £14.99 each (1 for godson - other not sure but can always return)

1 x Professional Bottle opener £ 15 ( for FIL christmas wine hamper)

the above 3 items where on the 342 offer so I got one of the toys items for £0.00

Bought 3 sancturary items at £ 1.29 each on 342 so paid £ 2.58 (these are for my sisters christmas sanctuary hamper)

Also to boost the total spend over £50 to get the £10 discount I ordered 4 of the estee lauder pencil sharpeners total spend for these £ 18 and got 2 x 750 points so 1500 points for these items

My local Boots are currently doing 3for2 on No7 products, which can also be combined with the £5 off voucher - I'm assuming this is nationwide.

Does anyone know when the 3for2 offer on No7 ends.?...want to get some more goodies but waiting for payday! :o

I can confirm that it will end on 6th Nov 2007 (seen from the small print instore). Unfortunately, the free gift will start on 7th Nov. So you have to choose whether you will spend your £5 off in which offer.

Yes you can get 342 with your points. To get the Olay points you have to spend £20 but if you spend £20 you get 1000pts and you can use the 500pt voucher out the PC vouchers. It is instore.
