debt 5.5 years old, move scotland?

Hi,
As debts are 5.5 years old (arising originally in Scotland) was wondering whether relocation would "wipe them off"? Seeing as Scotland has a 5 year limit and England a 6 year limit. Although Barclays have a "law of England & Wales" small print, is that unenforceable, due to trying to over-rule (scottish) law, which makes that term unlawful?
Regards.

My debt was scottish, and I was domiciled there, then I moved to England; the question is whether I move back to Scotland I can re-assert 5 years?0

If I change my domicile back to Scotland, then I can claim 5 year limitation, and do this for the next year if anyone attempts to chase from England; then maybe reconsider England? What is limitation on other EU countries?0
