2 weeks left of Bankruptcy

I've got 2 weeks left of my BR and i'm getting excited about coming out the other side debt free and with an attitude to never going back into the viscous circle of borrowing money i do not have.
When i first declared i do not think I've ever been so anxious but after speaking with the OR and with the help of you guys it put me at ease and just got on with it.
After 6 months of being BR my file got moved to an IP which got me worried again but I was completely compliant with them and really had nothing to worry about. They have recently suspended my IPA due to me not being in a financial position to make contributions towards it which was a massive shock as i done my income & expenditure and worked out i had £320 disposable income so questioned it and they told me that i couldn't afford anything anymore (who am i to argue with the experts) and they have now asked to be released as the Trustee under section 299 of the insolvency act 1986 so all the nitty grity stuff has been done on their part.
So what next....
Once I'm discharged i will be going through my Credit files with a fine tooth comb and make all the necessary changes as per the post BR thread.
Get my promotion in November and declare my change in income to the IP
And look forward to the pitter patter of tiny feet as my wife is pregnant and due in Feb 17.
A big thank you to all of you who have helped me through this 12 month period and i firmly believe I'm in such a better place.

What a lovely email!
I look forward to the day when you post that you are free once more.
It seems like this year is a lot better than your last one, well done to you.:)0 -
Lovely to hear, well done!!
Don't worry about cleaning up until a few months after discarge. Give it a while yo let the discharge take effect. Remember to check all 3 CRAs. One of mine shows one default still & everything else ok. Another shows virtually eveything from before BR in default , so it can vary greatly.
Congratulations on your new arrival next year - it really is a fresh start :-)SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
SPC 11 (2018) #4850 -
Good to hear you're almost free

I guess you cant put promotion on hold for the best part of 3 years to avoid an IPA. If they decide you now do have spare money, at least it was good while it lasted!
I really think it's a case of lucky dip and/or postcode lottery with some of these OR decisions! Some people are signing IPAs for £30/40 (just above the £20 threshold). Others have seemingly large amounts spare and are being told not to pay in!
All the best!
And congratulations - bet you can't wait until February!!! 0 -
Hi guys thank you for the kind words. Yes February cannot come quick enough to be honest.0
