loans under my name but no record of them.

All these comments about the credit score being meaningless ignore the fact that, in this case, the low score indicates that there are serious issues in the credit history which are far from meaningless. In the OP's situatoon I would write to the lender and ask for details of the loans that are disputed - if you search for 'prove it letter' you should find a template. This should give you more information to support any report to the police and subsequently a request to the CRA to remove the details from your record.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

thank you for the recent posts,
Although getting a credit card is hard now due to the defects in my credit history that were not made by me,
No I am not paying a subscription fee, I am using a free site.
Yeah I can see that no company can see my score, only I can. Although with these loans taken out, none of them have been paid and 2 are now defaulted which still stands out to lenders etc because in their eyes I could not keep up with the payments. "All of my ones that I know off are all paid and in good standing order"
Thank you, I will use the template for my guidance. I am phoning my bank today, and building up a report for the police. also contacting the companys too. I will keep you all updates.
Again thank you for the support and re ensuring words.0 -
could you elaborate on the CRA? how would I approach them about the issue?0

6 new credit loans are out in my name all in debt and 2 are defaulted.
Although what evidence can I give to police and the bank? They used my name, DoB, and address. I will contact shop direct and make a complaint and speak with a manager to discuss it too.
can someone have intercepted your mail? Do you live in shared accommodation? I imagine catalogues would deliver to the address and credit cards would be delivered to the address.
Is this during the time you were away for a few weeks?
Have you received a crime reference number from the police?
information re identity theft can be found here http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/fraud_protection/identity_fraud0 -
Hi,
I was referencing credit cards because It got mentioned above that I should apply for one to get the score up, but due to this I cannot.
I lived with my mother at the time, still do. I was away for a few weeks on a training course and was back every weekend but never really acknowledged it.
I have reported it to action fraud and they gave me a ref number, I have phoned experian credit expert and they have passed it on to one of their teams to investigate *I asked them to put a fraud alert on my profile but because I don't pay for their service I can't* so they passed it on to someone else.
I have also contacted the companys involved with a letter and phoned one which wants a crime ref number (Still got to phone them back)
Anything else I should be doing?
My bank had no option on the phone, although my bank details are fine and have not been used.
Many thanks,

Hi guys,
Quick update.
I really do appreciate the advice yous have given me.
I currently have 2 out of 5 accounts remove on my file,
Still got some time to wait to see the overall outcome. I have reported it to the major credit bureaus and they have actually done good and really helped me out.
Hopefully my next reply will be that every single fraudulent account has been deleted off my account
thanks,

thanks for the responses,
"You say you applied for finance for some tech, who did you apply with ?" - Paybreak Ltd, Very good company and I spoke with them alot, never had a problem, never a late payment. Paid it off and I applied again to get some of the tech upgraded just to get my score up and history on a positive. they rejected it knowing I have made all of my payments.
I have spoken with a charity today and they said to contact the police and my bank about these loans taken out in my name.
All of my valid accounts that I know I have are all in good terms with no outstanding balances. so after a certain month of last year, 6 new credit loans are out in my name all in debt and 2 are defaulted.
Although what evidence can I give to police and the bank? They used my name, DoB, and address. I will contact shop direct and make a complaint and speak with a manager to discuss it too.
Any other advice?
Sorry, wrong use of the word depressed. more like I am just depressed looking at my score, makes me angry + Sad just seeing it so low!
thanks
