I'm with Sandraann Ross is a single man who has done nothing wrong. Ross has served his community with energy and fairness and deserves support.

I have only a basic knowledge of what the story is, but as a public figure, a little bit of common sense is required. He is a politician and more of a 'person of interest' than the normal other mucker on the street.
I do believe some politicians (everywhere) embrace a perception of invincibility.
If they can't cope with (and understand the responsibilities and pitfalls of) being in the public domain, they shouldn't be in it.

He might be single, but he is a person elected to do a job.

Why do people and I mean anyone send photos of themselves naked. STUPID MORON!!!! Never ever ever ever ends well. Shown time after time even with normal(sniggers) nobodies who do this. My partner who ever, you break up and they share it on Facebook etc. You get blackmailed by ex, Oh I don't know why I did it! I am so embarrassed!

STUPID!!!! Just say no, especially with some stranger you do not know in real life

Glad to see the keyboard warriors out! Leave the poor guy alone, what he does in his private life is his business! Guess all these ever so perfect people have done nothing STUPID in their lives!! So what he wanted a bit of fun....didn't realise MPS weren't allowed to have sex no matter how they went about it!! Get a grip all those that say he's an elected person and shouldn't be doing this!! Didn't realise an MP was signing up to become a minister or join the priesthood were celibacy is expected.....

Resorting to calling him a stupid moron.......that was well below the belt and heartless!

I can't abide prurient 'journalism' like this. Where is the public interest in this story??? Hateful rag. All involved should be thoroughly shamed of themselves. Ugh.

Heartless, is he dying no. He is in a position of trust and should know better(oops this is an NI politician so won't count). So you see nothing wrong with your so called elected politicians sending naked photos of himself to women or anyone for that matter he does not know? He can have a sex life if he wants, but as I said sending naked photos via phone, tablet etc does make him STUPID!!

How many cases have come to court people doing it and then being blackmailed? He set himself up and it came back and bite him. I have no sympathy for anyone who does it. Was he forced? No!

That what bugs me....people are so judgemental! what is it anyway that is getting your back up about this?? The newspaper only tells u one side of the story....but if u wanna believe everything that the rag states then you go ahead love!

It has only "come back to bite him" because a low life newspaper has made a story of it, and people these days seem to thrive on other peoples embarassment and humiliation.

I would say he was foolish but i do feel for the guy as there was no call for this to be published. It certainly wasnt in the public interest.

Foolish but he's human. Had he been married and had affairs, he could probably have covered it with a super injunction - madness!

With the level of actual wrong doing in the world, it says a lot for the mentality of our population that a story like this even starts to get attention.
