Code Bug - anyone used one, please?

I stumbled across the details of the Code Bug in an electrical supplies catalogue and thought it looked fascinating for real beginners in the coding field.

Has anyone used one, please, and if so what did you think?

Hi, iv never heard of this before and just had a look.

If you have zero experience programming then i guess this would allow you to get used to the logic that is used in coding, and familiarise you with the way in which programs are put together ..

I guess that when you have the principals locked down, you could then learn a "real world" language that you could use to start coding a real computer.

Python would be a good starting point as it is quite simple to learn and quite versitile ..

    Hope this helps

I went straight to the Arduino. Download programs (sketches) to start with and tinker with them, if you break the program then just upload the sketch again and start again.

Plenty of forums out there to help if you get stuck.

And you can pick up arduino boards for a couple of £.

I found a listing on ebay for Uno's £1.43 each. Too cheap i thought so bought 5 of them and they all turned up and work a treat.
