Waitrose jumbo king prawns £4.99 pay £2
Options
You need to have a MyWaitrose card, pick the jumbo King prawns as one of your 20% off purchases. The standard offer at the moment is buy two packs of these prawns for £6, which is a good offer but use your MyWaitrose card and you get 20% off full price. So you get two packs for about £4, fab offer, these are my favourite prawns.
You can freeze these too. Of course I have several packs, maybe a dozen, in the freezer for later.

The 150g packs? £4.99 each normally (outrageous!) and £4.80 for two packs (£2.40 each) with the 20% myWaitrose discount if you add it to your 'picks'.
Even with the offer, this works out at £15.99 per kilo - as against the standard price of £12.50 per kilo for the Aldi version.
I've tried both - there's very little difference.0 -

These prawns are absolutely delicious.
I'm afraid your calculations are a bit miss, it's £4.99 X 2 - 20% that's the amount deducted from the £6. So it works out at approx £2 per pack.0 -
I love prawns ,but sadly after having food poisoning from dodgy ones I seem to have developed an allergy towards them. I wish I could buy some
especially as I have a My Waitrose card:(

My apologies. Didn't realise they took the discount off the gross figure. £13.33 per kilo then, as against Aldi's standard £12.50.
A decent enough offer at that price but at full price I'm amazed they sell any. They really are indistinguishable from the Aldi version.0 -

Not everyone has access to a Aldi so this is a great deal for those of us that can't get to an Aldi.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. And up here ''North of Watford'', Aldi is everywhere [my nearest 1 mile] and Waitrose like hens' teeth [nearest 12 miles]
I prefer not to walk 3 miles with shopping, so there are transport costs to add, whether car or a bus journey needing 2 buses.0
