Urgent help with Rentsmart required

I hope someone can offer some help with a problem I've got.
I have many business/personal debts that comes to around 55k.
The problem I have is that when in business I took out a rental agreement with a company for a PC.
I have made about 35 payments on a 48 month agreement. I am about 4-5 payments in arrears of £39 per month.
The company has wrote to say that they have now terminated the agreement, want the PC back & I still have to pay the arrears & the remaining payments.
Surely ;
1. if the agreement is terminated & I return the PC, then the payments should stop once I pay up the arrears ?
2. why would anyone pay for something they dont have anymore ?
The company is Rentsmart in Manchester, they are the rental arm of PC world.
If anyone can help i'd appreciate it as they are hassling me on the phone every day.
Many thanks.
Stephen.

Was the TV HP, finance, or rental? Do you have the original agreement filed somewhere?Mummy to two girls, 4 & 1, been at home for four years, struggling to contend with the terrifying thought of returning to work.0

it was a rental agreement, therefore rent for a 48 months then the option to buy off them.0
