    True, I meant in the main. I was under the impression it was only John Charcol or another of the big firms that dealt with them at the minute (I was kind of hedging my bets).

    I got a mortgage through last week for a 19 year old with a low paid job and no credit history whatsoever. I did have to give 9 months bank statements and wage slips and one extra form of proof of address, but it went through fine after that. I think you may have lumbered yourself with a lazy broker.

    Try and find one based on personal recommendation.
