Expat mortgage for Northern Ireland property
TX001
We have found a property in Northern Ireland that we would like to buy. We are living in the US & hope to move back home to NI within the next year. We are having trouble finding a mortgage lender. We have a substantial deposit (65%) and therefore only require remaining 35% mortgage loan. Has anyone in similar circumstances been able to secure a mortgage since the EU directive in March of this year?
Any help much appreciated!

There are a few lenders doing them but it's a pretty specialised market. I don't touch them personally too much work involved for not a lot of money at the end of it.
Probably best googling and see if you can find a broker. I actually know a broker in Newry who may help, I'm not sure if I can post details on here though?I am a Mortgage & Protection Broker
