CCCS DMP versus Personal DMP

CCCS have sent me my income & expenditure to forward to my creditors with a pro rata repayment agreement for them to consider.

I spoke with a debt collector, DLC, today after they'd been chasing me and advised the agent that I will be sending this to them.

We argued that I didn't have a CCCS DMP that I'd only contacted them for advice. I asked what the difference was and didn't get a real answer. This is probably me being a clever ****.

But I was wondering if there is a difference between a CCCS DMP & a personal DMP? Are creditors more likely to agree with CCCS than with individuals?

    HI

I have found it much easier to have CCCS on my side, but it's really up to you - various people have had successful DMPs on their own. I think for me I am enjoying the security of being able to ring the CCCS for advise and help when I'm in a state! :)

I'm sure others will have other views.

It depends on your personal situation really.

My father is on a DMP and he's self employed so I'm self-administering it for him as it's much easier with his changing income.
