Enchanted Forest

Hi all,
Tickets for the Enchanted Forest evenings 19th Oct to 4th Nov are on sale, and have been for a wee while apparently, thought I'd let you know cos I've missed out on getting ticket's the last few years by finding out too late.
Seem's like you can only get tickets via ticketmaster:confused: .
Has anyone been? We're planning on taking our 2 year old so if anyone has any advice or tip's they'd be most welcome.

  • I've been to the enchanted forest when it was at the hermitage by Dunkeld, but not since it moved to faskally. I thouroughly enjoyed it but I would recommend you wrap up warm - you'd probably already worked that out though - and also have some form of reigns for your toddler as it is really dark if you wander off the main route and not sure how easy it would be to negotiate a pushchair through the forest. you are given a glow in the dark necklace which everyone must wear, so as to be spotted if you do wander off into the dark areas. It does appear to be ticket master issuing the tickets the following link is ticket master agents where they can be obtained

  • Thanks millymollymandy do you think a 2 yr old should enjoy it (silly to ask everything is an exciting experience for her at the mo well- except the supermarket!) will wrap up warm and take her brill little rucksack with the rein type strap on it.
Not sure if we'll take the pushchair? Will see closer to the time.

  • I would think she should enjoy it as there was kids of all ages when I went. If nothing else she will probably be fascinated by the lights and music. I will say that it can be quite haunting - not scarey though - what with the actors and the music and fantastic light displays against the dark forest. Definately worth a visit. if I remember correctly we got a free hot chocolate from a sponsors van as well.
  • Due to start on October 19th, a light and sound show in Faskally Wood near Pitlochry.

I believe the Ticketmaster website is the pits to try and negotiate though.

and I should have searched first but have now merged the threads :o

That's odd I had to get ticket's for the 6.15 bus - copied this from my eticket-- We recommend that you arrive at Fishers Hotel a minimum of 30 minutes before your coach departs. Please note that this will be strictly observed. Your late arrival could result in your seat allocation being forfeited with little chance of getting offered an alternative time

  • I seem to remember when I went a few years ago the buses left every few minutes, I'm not sure if we were booked on a specific bus but there didnt seem to be any problems with buses and on way back you just queued at the collection poin when ready to leave and got on the buses as they arrived, again there was pretty much a bus every few minutes so didnt have too long to wait
